Welcome to the Curio Town, a curious collection of unusual finds, thoughtful treasures, and magical things worth discovering.
It's a little corner of the world where magic meets mystery; a place that has lived in my imagination for years, and one I'm finally getting to share with you.
As a little girl, I was a lone wolf. I was always the kid with one foot int he real word and the other somewhere else. I spent my childhood running through the woods, playing Tarzan in the trees, playing with my Johnny West and Geronimo dolls dreaming about I horses, stories, and far away places and things just a little outside the ordinary.
School wasn't always easy for me. ADHD and dyslexia made some things harder, but imagination was always the scape route. That same imagination eventually led me to become a publisher author -- and now it has led me here.
The Curio Town is what happens when all of those pieces of me finally get their own place to live.
Step inside and you'll find a strange little virtual town filled with unusual shops, curious shopkeepers, secrets, gossip, stories and treasures just waiting to be discovered.
There's Crow Magic Apothecary, where Ms. Wren keeps more than secret potions behind the counter. Hallowed Ink Bookstore, home to Greta Hairpin and her cat Sebastian. Here you'll find bookish treasures for readers and writers. The Music Emporium is where Riff Tremelo keeps the music playing. The Roadkill Restaurant, where Roadie the Raccoon cooks up delicious recipes with Meme and Mamaw. And tucked away among the greenery is the Fairy Realm Garden, watched over by Tilly Odinsson and Thistle, the garden rabbit.
But the Curio Town isn't just a fictional place.
The items you receive are real--carefully chosen, curated, handmade, discovered, or created by the person opening the box in mind. Some are beautiful. Some are useful Some are odd. Some may make you wonder why they found their way to you at all. And that's part of the fun.
Every box is a little trip Into the town. Every shop has a story. And around here, nothing is ever quite as ordinary as it first appears.
